Applied Research Experience:
Marc Patry has over 10 years of applied legal research experience. He is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Castleton State College in Vermont (USA) in 1997 and went on to pursue doctoral work in Psychology and Law at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He was awarded a Master of Legal Studies and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology in 2001. He was an Assistant Professor at his undergraduate alma mater, Castleton College, for four years before accepting a position at Saint Mary's University.
Statement of Interest:
Research interests include civil justice, correctional psychology, media and the law, and jury decision making.
