Applied Research Experience:
I have conducted contemporary and historical research on legal change based on case law and statutory research, placed in the context of sociological information. I have also reviewed Hansard debates on family law topics and conducted interviews on family law reform with group leaders and individuals. Recently I have undertaken analysis of transcripts of court proceedings.
Statement of Interest:
I am interested in research on law reform and legal change that places developments in the wider context of social dynamics and social change.
Research interests include family law, feminist legal studies, defining legal parenthood, child custody law, and same-sex partnerships and law.
